Wet Labs

Our world-class, 6,000-square-foot wet and electromechanical labs feature multiple hoods and snorkels of different sizes, including double-sash, walk-in, and two 6’x6’x8’ ventilated work areas. Separate rooms accommodate materials delivery and waste removal. Workbenches have ample power, vacuum, and gasses (with specialty gasses available as needed). The labs are supported by an analytical services team that can rapidly characterize materials at the micro-, nano-, and atomic scales.

Industrial Facilities

Our 9,000-square-foot, air-conditioned industrial makerspace includes 15-foot-high bays with two 5-ton overhead cranes, secondary containment, forklift access, 480V 3-phase power, and water at six stations. The space has its own office space, kitchenette, restrooms, printer, and Wi-Fi. The wet labs and industrial facilities are supported by on-site waste management and a knowledgeable Health, Safety, and Environment team.

Laydown Yard

Adjacent to the industrial maker space is our paved, 25,000-square-foot laydown yard. The yard accommodates tube trailers, containers, and virtually anything that fits on a 52-foot flatbed. Utilities are available in the pilot units as needed.

Campus Life

Our Houston-area location has an auditorium, gym, and cafeteria and offers quick access to freeways, the airport, and downtown. The campus sits on a scenic, park-like property surrounded by trees with a man-made lake at its center, ideal for hosting partners, investors, and customers.

Success Story: Access to Critical Lab Resources

Access to our facilities, meeting rooms, and engineering support helped Ionada Carbon Solutions complete their carbon capture pilot system, which can remove up to 99% of carbon emissions in the energy, marine, and e-fuels markets.
